Dark Stories – Halloween/Samhain 2011

ABSOLUT Fringe 2011
Alive-O Productions (in association with MIRARI Productions) presented When Irish Hearts Are Praying in the ABSOLUT Fringe Festival 2011 to great success. In true Alive-O style there was a street campaign to coincide with the show which included an interactive Conversation Box as well as a street sticker and poster campaign featuring our ‘Hey God Where’s My Ffffin Pony’ tagline.
Summer 2011
Shows during Summer 2011 included Waxing Lyrical, an evening comedy tour of the National Wax Museum Plus and Tinteán Tales, a family show featuring scenes from four Irish myths. This show premiered on 26th June at 3pm in the grounds of the Pearse Museum in Rathfarnham. See more in the News and Video sections.
2010
Anna Livia and the Durty Big Eejits – Alive-O Productions created an original show which was performed as a Panto on the Liffey Cruise boat for Temple Bar Cultural Trust’s A Chocolate Christmas festival. The show was fully booked so another date had to be added. Even with the heavy snow and many other events being cancelled, the show was a huge success. Dublin City Council also had the show performed as part of their Christmas events in Wolfetone park (see footage in Videos).

Dublin Viking Festival. Alive-O Productions created a Viking character storytelling show for the Dublin Viking Festival 21st and 22nd August 2010 (for Dublin City Council and Alchemy Events). The characters had colourful cardboard armour costumes and the show entertained and educated children and adults alike about the Vikings History in Ireland (see footage in Videos).
Where’s Dracula (Halloween Show). Alive-O Productions created an original show called ‘Where’s Dracula’ for Dublin City Council for their Halloween festival on Banardo Square. The show took place over 4 days (26th – 29th October) attracting hundreds of visitors (see footage in Videos).
