Alive-O Productions specialises in creating  site-specific and street theatre shows for government bodies as well as private businesses.

The shows are all family-geared, educational and entertaining. They can be completely customised and/or created specifically for a client due to Alive-O Productions relationship with team of talented actors, writers and directors.

Previous show highlights include “The Gateway” (a fictional tale about the Goddess Bridget) performed in Cabinteely Park for DLR’s Summer of Heritage programme 2012, “Tinteán Tales” (a show encompassing 4 Irish Myths) performed at St. Enda’s Park, Rathfarnham, “Panto On The Liffey” (a 3-person panto performed on the Liffey Cruise Boat, Dec 2010) for Temple Bar Cultural Trust and “Where’s Dracula?” a family Halloween show, performed at Banardo Square on Dame St for Dublin City Council.

Alive-O Productions recently received funding from the BAI for 2 radio dramas. Moore Than A Garden (a 30 min drama telling the true story of a father and son who curated the Botanic Gardens in the 1800′s) is available for a limited time only at the following podcast:  http://dublinsouthfm.ie/podcast/170/

Alive-O Productions presents The Gateway – a mystical outdoor theatre show for all the family at Cabinteely Park as part of Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council’s Summer of Heritage programme. ABSOLUT Fringe 2011

Alive-O Productions (in association with MIRARI Productions) presented When Irish Hearts Are Praying in the ABSOLUT Fringe Festival 2011 to great success. In true Alive-O style there was a street campaign to coincide with the show which included an interactive Conversation Box as well as a street sticker and poster campaign featuring our ‘Hey God Where’s My Ffffin Pony’ tagline.

Summer 2011

Shows during Summer 2011 included Waxing Lyrical, an evening comedy tour of the National Wax Museum Plus which is still available for group booking of 25 or more and Tinteán Tales, a family show featuring scenes of several of the Irish myths. This show premiered on 26th June at 3pm in the grounds of the Pearse Museum in Rathfarnham. See more in the News section.
